Weaning Evaluation Protocol for Pediatric Patients After Assist Device Implantation

      VAD implantation is an established treatment strategy for pediatric patients with end-stage heart failure. Although VAD therapy is primarily considered as “bridge-to-transplantation” in pediatric patients, there is potential for myocardial recovery during VAD therapy (“bridge-to-recovery”).
