132 Predicting Heart Failure Mortality Following Hospital Discharge: A Novel and Simple Risk Assessment Tool

      Heart failure (HF) is a growing epidemic that requires innovative strategies for detecting patient risk. The Intermountain Risk Score (IMRS) is an inexpensive gender-specific risk profile computed from age, the complete blood count (CBC), and the basic metabolic profile (BMP). This study evaluated if the post-hospitalization risk of mortality among patients with a primary discharge diagnosis of HF can be stratified by IMRS.
