Although human embryonic stem cells (hESC) are promising in cardiovascular regeneration
therapy, potential host immune response towards transplanted hESC is not well characterized.
We hypothesize that hESC transplantation elicits an adaptive murine immune response
that may be modulated by immunosuppressive drugs.
