Heart preservation using continuous ex vivo perfusion improves viability and functional recovery in comparison to cold storage
      Cold storage (CS) is a proven preservation method for heart transplantion, yet early postoperative graft dysfunction remains prevalent. We hypothesized that continuous perfusion (CP) of the heart during the ex vivo transport period would further improve myocardial viability and function.
